Bird Feeding

The Anna's Hummingbirds have been busy at the feeders. This male has staked out his favorite feeder and he visits it frequently. Notice his flashy head feathers!

I like how he has little bits that extend past his head. He sure is flashy!

The Chickadee and Nuthatches love this feeder with Black Oil Sunflower seed. Other birds visit it occasionally, but it is mainly for clinging birds.

It seems there are more and more Juncos every day. I have all my tray feeders out and filled with millet. Golden-crowned Sparrows, Song Sparrows, and Towhees eat out of them too.

And Mourning Doves...

Who is visiting your garden feeders?
