Can You See Me?

How about now?

I just love his little spot of red against the autumn leaves backdrop. Such a cute little Downy.

He stops by the suet feeder several times a day for a bite to eat.

  3. Hi Kate, Thanks for visiting. That is a Downy Woodpecker. I believe they are the smallest North American woodpecker...and oh so cute!

  4. That is a cute little Downy. Great photos! What kind of camera do you use? I would love to be able to get nice close-up photos like those.

  5. Susan: I used a Canon Rebel for this photo. The lens is a 70-300mm. This was taken in my backyard, so I was fairly close and slightly hidden from the bird since I was indoors. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
