Garden Visitors

Lately we have had a lot of Juncos visiting. The trays with millet have been popular.

The Chestnut-backed Chickadees love the suet feeder. I also have a mix of nuts and seeds that they seem to enjoy.

And more Juncos...

Who's moving into your yard for the winter?

  1. Our yard is just full of Juncos right now. We've been seeing Anna's Hummingbirds, Chickadees, Bewick's Wrens and even a Heron yesterday.

  2. We have juncos, too. One poor little guy ran into my window the other day, but he was all right. You can see a picture of him at my blog. (Funny how we both seem to be talking about the same birds at the same time.)

  3. Well they don't come to our yard, but I see the juncos, red-breasted and white-breasted nuthatches, and black-capped chickadees wherever I go in the Black Hills now...all hanging out together. Very nice photos, and I love your feeder.

  4. Totally different over here (UK). House Sparrows, Greenfinches, Blue Tits and very greedy Rose-ringed Parakeets. I'll try to post some pics very soon. FAB.

  5. ...such an interesting post to me because we get none of these visitors at our feeders. We get juncos, but only Dark-eyed Juncos, and I love those little Chestnut-backed Chickadees!
