Before I even opened the post, I figured it was about bushtits. It is such fun when they gather on the suet feeder like that. (I have one, too, although I don't know if I've ever had quite that many of them at once!)I think there are 22, maybe even more on the other side...
My last blog post happens to be about bushtits, too. I love those little guys!
I'm so tempted to print out this image just so I can mark off the birds as I count - it's hard to do on the screen! Counting bodies as well as tails that are attached to bodies from the other side of the cage, I count 24 or 25. Bushtits are so cute - too bad we don't have them here (yes, I have feeder envy about your Bushtits and your fancy Jays!).

I counted 22 too. What a great photo! I love bushtits and I don't see them much so this is fun. :)
ReplyDelete...I counted 23, twice. I must be seeing something! Those little birds are so cute. We don't get them here. They look more like a british bird!
