Sauvie Island Farm

On July 4th we ended our road trip around WA county on Sauvie Island. We were going to do a loop and look for birds.

We found some. And we found a farm stand with BBQ, beer, and roasted corn on the cob. At this point in the afternoon we had worked up an appetite and decided to call it a day.

The farm chickens were very cooperative for the photo shoot.

Nap time for this piggy.

There were a couple of little guys in a pen rooting around. Look at that dirty nose!

Ungers Farm has u-pick berries and a produce stand. The chickens run around free range style.

Uh, I can't resist.
Why did the chicken cross the road?
