Sparks Lake in the Evening

On our last day of vacation we returned to Sparks Lake for an evening paddle. The low sun was hard to take, but once it dipped behind the mountians, it was very nice.

Deer come down from the hills to this wet meadow to graze. Last time we paddled this lake in the evening we saw them too. Notice the two fawns! The one on the left is running to catch up.

In the photo below there are two Eagles. Can you spot them?

Okay, you probably see the one in the top of the tree. The second one is down on the shoreline grabbing an evening snack.

Eagle flying over the water in front of the snowcapped mountains.

On the way out, we pulled over on the side of the road to get a couple of photos of this gorgeous group of deer.

And finally, my favorite photo from the evening. A peaceful evening paddle.
That concludes the vacation photos. Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did!
Thanks for all the nice comments you all leave. It cheers me to read them.
