Sunnier Days

Summer was short here in Oregon.

The rains have started. Here are some photos taken last week when we had a bit of sunshine.

Sanvitalia is one of my favorites. It blooms and blooms and doesn't require much attention. The sunny little flowers are like mini black-eyed susans that creep. It's also called creeping zinnia. I mixed it in this pot with some dark chocolate colored coleus.

I planted this row of reds, oranges, and yellows when the peas finished. Zinnias, celosia, and more sanvitalia.

Sunny Flowers even in the rain.
