Swift Watch 2010

I look forward to this September tradition each year.
The return of the Vaux's Swifts to Chapman Elementary School in Portland.



Beauty of the sunset.



Anticipation of the gathering.



The thrill of a raptor.




And the eventual entry into the roost.



How much more exciting can nature get??
