Ridgefield NWR

We drove the auto route on Sunday and saw lots of species. There were intermittent rain shower and some sun breaks.

I haven't seen Great Egrets in a while and we saw two of them.

A lurking Bittern.

Why do Common Yellowthroats always have to be so far away?

I was really excited to see two Yellow-headed Blackbirds!

This Wilson's Snipe wouldn't show himself for a photo, but I like how this came out anyways.

Scenic Ridgefield.

Wilson's Warbler

Song Sparrow belting it out.

Brown Creeper

Singing Marsh Wren.

He has amazing dexterity!

Yellow-rumped Warblers were everywhere!

That's a Yellow Warbler isn't it?

Canada Goose family.

The owlets have left the nest. We could see these two and one adult.

Cinnamon Teal.

A fun morning!
