Swift Watch

I have been to see the Swifts at Chapman twice in the last week. These photos are from Sunday. I asked Audubon on their facebook page how many they thought were there on Tuesday, and they estimated 4,000. They said there were 10,000 on the weekend. So maybe there was 10,000 on the evening I took these photos.

    SOOOOOO great! We just attended a swift night out with Columbus Audubon last week. They estimated 2000 swifts roosting in a school chimney. Love it! We plan to make a swift tower next summer. Happy sauce making! :)
