Scrub Jay Hatchlings

Remember I mentioned that the Scrub Jays made a nest in a rhododendron bush in my garden?  I have the ladder in place so I can climb up about 10 feet and check on the progress. Look what I saw today! Isn't that egg pretty? The babies look ugly though. I had to take this photo with my cell phone, but it came out pretty good. I'll try to get some more photos as they mature.


Just got back from Jackson Bottoms and Fernhill Wetlands- so I will have a bunch of photos to share soon.
