Tree Swallows

I visited Jackson Bottoms this morning, then went over to Fernhill Wetlands. It had been a while since I had been to either. It was really cloudy out and then the weather turned to a misty drizzle, but by the time I got to Fernhill the clouds were parting a bit.

Tree Swallows were prolific. With so many nest boxes, it makes for easy photos.

This little guy was so photogenic and tolerant of me. Cute.

It's nesting season!

  1. Such characters! I love the single swallow shots..they are mighty beautiful!

  2. Love is in the air! Beautiful birds, beautiful photos.
