Another Evening in the Garden

Did a little weeding but got distracted again. So I poured a glass of wine and watched some birds.
I have a very low quantity of birds, but still a number of species these days.
Northern Flicker.
Had to switch to this feeder to keep out the blankety-blank Starlings.

American Goldfinch

One of the Scrub Jay parents.

Band-tailed Pigeon

House Finch

Garden Dog

  2. Ooh is Maggie lying with her legs behind her?? I love when they do that. Yep, I think we had the same suet feeder and I had to quit using mine too. Blankety blank starlings indeed.

    1. Yes! Nina never did that, but Maggie always lays that way when she is relaxing. I try to photograph it, but her fur is so long. I'm glad you noticed because I adore it! My neighborhood is buzzing with the damn baby starlings.
