Wapato Walk

Went out to Sauvie Island this morning.
Before going to Wapato Greenway, I  drove the loop for scenic opportunities.
Crimson Clover

The birds were vocal this morning, but not a lot were making appearances.

Red-breasted Sapsucker

A perfect place to enjoy the view and relax.

Common Yellowthroat

The most vocal bird of the morning. And there seemed to be a lot of them: Black-headed Grosbeak.
Just a lil ol Song Sparrow, but when I zoomed in I noticed he is banded.

When I saw Dragonfly wings I thought it was a long shot to get a photo.
I had no idea there were two and they were mating.
This photo came as a surprise!

Damselfly

My favorite find of the day- a snake in a blackberry bush.

Garter Snake
