Rejuvenation

This morning I drove to the Hwy 26 Spring and collected spring water. I haven't done that in a while and have been craving the cool, pure fresh water. Since I have been purusing books for vacation ideas, I stumbled upon a hike to do after collecting water. The trail is near Reehers Campground by the booming town of Timber, population 131.
The trail ended up being not well marked and hard to follow. I walked a ways, then turned around and tried another one. Nothing too photographically profound, but the wooded mountain air and fresh spring water were rejuvenating.

There were three of these young beasts making the most obnoxious noises.
Is it a Raven? Sure didn't sound like the young crows in my neighborhood.

Devil's Club-
see photo below for why it's called that!

An unidentified Thrush.

Orchids-
Western Coralroot (left)
Couldn't figure out the one on the right.
After my walk- I decided to stay on Timber Road and follow it to Forest Grove.

Next stop- Fernhill Wetlands. More about that next time.
