Farewell Rufous

There were still some Rufous Hummingbirds around this morning, although I expect one day I will notice they have all headed south. One year I had one hang around into October, but that is unusual.




The veggies and a few potted plants are still looking nice, the rest of the yard is very dry. Maggie found a sunny patch.

    Our summer birds are still all here and the hummers are in a feeding frenzy getting prepared for their big journey as is all the bees ! Fantastic photo ! Have a good day !

    It's sad to say good bye to them for the year. They are all down here in Tucson right now on their way back home. I enjoy their daily visits and wish them well on their journey. Chris from Las Aventuras
