Winter Visitor

Pure luck that I saw this guy (Townsend's Warbler) come in. I was puttering around the house, sat down a minute to look at the birds and saw a bird fly into the neighbor's tree. I found it in the binoculars, got up, grabbed the camera and was going to go outside to find it when it flew into the tree right by the window.




I had a large flock of Chestnut-backed Chickadees hanging out in the yard yesterday- I think he might have come in with them.


Hope my paparazzi-like behavior didn't chase him off!

  1. Lovely photos . We don't get these breeds of birds here ! I love seeing all kinds of birds others have that we don't and visa versa ! Have a good day !
