Cedar Waxwings Everywhere

I haven't been taking many photos lately although I've been out birding. I just haven't felt like lugging the camera around. So when a flock of Cedar Waxwings turned up in my backyard I was happy to get the camera out and take advantage of the easy shots. They seem to moving around in big flocks. I hear their buzzy calls all over the place these days.

I just love the two red wing tips and the tail that looks like its been dipped in a can of yellow paint.

The ripe crabapples are attracting them to my garden.

And I was pleased to see they enjoy the berries on the Himalayan Honeysuckle (Lonicera) too!
