Tillamook Bay Wetlands

On day two we got sunshine and headed to Tillamook Bay Wetlands.

It was nice to get good looks at Fox Sparrows and see them vocalizing.

Pacific Wrens were abundant and heard just about everywhere on the coast. They are sneaky and hard to photograph so I was happy there were two be-bopping around in the the sunny brush.

This was the closest we got to a Black Phoebe.
One of the best sightings were two White-tailed Kite. They were way too far away to fully appreciate them though. No photos.

Then we moved on to Cape Meares to look for a Peregrine. No luck, but we got a spectacular view.

Back to the cabin for gull, pelican, and sunset watching:::
