Thursday we explored the Columbia Gorge on the Washington state side. All of these photos were taken at St. Cloud. This little spot on the river is an old apple orchard and the birds were enjoying the sunshine and apples. I don't have a photo of the best bird of the day, but you can see one here. A Steigerwald NWR record, we found an American Tree Sparrow. Pretty exciting stuff!
